Jeddah, January 9, 2026, SPA — Real Madrid advanced to the Spanish Super Cup final after a 2-1 victory over Atlético Madrid in their semifinal Wednesday at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah. Federico Valverde gave Real Madrid an early lead in the second minute, before Rodrygo Goes doubled the advantage in the 55th. Atlético Madrid reduced the deficit through Alexander Sorloth three minutes later, but Real held on until the final whistle. Real Madrid will face Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup final Sunday in Jeddah.
