IsDB Signs Agreements with Pakistan Government

Jeddah, January 22, 2026, SPA – In Islamabad, the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) signed three financing agreements with the government of Pakistan, with a total value of $603.4 million. The agreements were signed by IsDB Vice President for Operations Dr. Rami Ahmad, in the presence of Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Khan Cheema and several other officials. The first agreement, valued at $118.4 million, will enable 68,500 households to improve their livelihoods by contributing significantly to job creation and human capital development.
