Riyadh, January 20, 2026, SPA — The January edition of the “Big 5 Construct saudi-journal.com/saudi-broadcasting-authority-chief-visits-mbc-group/”>Saudi” exhibition launched Monday at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Center, inaugurating one of the key events in the Kingdom’s construction and building sector agenda for 2026.
The event features wide participation from leaders and experts in architecture and construction, with official representation from the Architecture and Design Commission.
The opening day featured the second annual “Architect Leaders Forum Saudi,” where speakers discussed the role of architects in shaping communities, integrating heritage and culture into development projects, and exploring opportunities to leverage data and artificial intelligence (AI) in design and implementation.In his opening speech at the Architect Leaders Forum Saudi, co-founder of Love That Design and Forum Chair Siddharth Peters highlighted how architects today play a more influential role not only in constructing buildings but also in shaping communities, particularly in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
“Architects today are no longer asked merely to design buildings; they have become part of the conversations on quality of life, sustainability, and long-term value,” he said.
The exhibition also highlighted the latest construction, finishing, and smart technology solutions, with participation from over 1,100 exhibitors from more than 50 countries, reinforcing Big 5 Construct Saudi’s position as a key platform for the Kingdom’s construction sector.
