London, August 09, 2026, SPA — Golf Saudi, in partnership with the Muslim Golf Association (MGA), provided 280 girls and women from across the United Kingdom with the opportunity to experience golf through community programs accompanying the PIF London 2026 tournament, held at Centurion Club in Hertfordshire from August 6 to 9.
On the first day, 100 girls participated in an introductory experience through Golf Saudi’s Go Golf program, covering the basics of the game and meeting specialists, doctors, and coaches from the Ladies European Tour. Some participants had previously attended a beginners’ course organized by the MGA last summer for Muslim students at Iqra Academy in Peterborough.
On the second day, 180 women from across the UK joined a course tour and practical activities, receiving an introduction to the Race to Makkah tournament organized by the MGA for the global Muslim golf community. Participants were invited to attend the tournament’s world final at Royal Greens Golf & Country Club in King Abdullah Economic City, offering women and families the opportunity to watch the competition and perform Umrah.
The initiative forms part of joint efforts by Golf Saudi and the MGA to expand the game’s reach, building a pathway from introductory experiences and community programs in the UK to international events in Saudi Arabia.
