Riyadh, February 07, 2026, SPA — The Culinary Arts Commission hosted a celebration of the Michelin Guide, showcasing Saudi and international culinary arts featured among its latest destinations. The initiative highlights the diversity that blends heritage with innovation, promotes food tourism, and reinforces the Kingdom’s position as a global destination for gastronomy.
Through its partnership with the Michelin Guide, the Culinary Arts Commission promotes the Kingdom’s culinary scene and enhances visitor experiences, while Michelin inspectors independently conduct the selection and evaluation process, ensuring integrity and credibility.
The commission affirmed that the listing of the Kingdom’s dining establishments in the Michelin Guide seeks to introduce Saudi culinary arts to a global audience, support local chefs and producers, and enhance the Kingdom’s international presence in the culinary sector, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to support innovation and develop tourism.
The Michelin Guide is regarded as a leading global reference for evaluating restaurants since its establishment in the early twentieth century. It relies on its renowned star rating system to assess quality, boosting restaurants’ visibility, attracting visitors, and fostering innovation and diversity within the Kingdom’s culinary landscape.
The inaugural Michelin Guide celebration brings together chefs, restaurant owners, and industry stakeholders to honor establishments included in its latest 2026 selections and to celebrate the growth and achievements of the restaurant sector in the Kingdom across hospitality and culinary arts.
