<a href="https://saudi-journal.com/riyadh-art-unveils-tuwaiq-sculpture-2026/”>Riyadh, February 09, 2026, SPA — Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef inaugurated the ministry’s pavilion at the third edition of the World Defense Show 2026 yesterday. The event, held in Riyadh from February 8 to 12, showcases the Kingdom’s integrated industrial and mining ecosystem.
The pavilion, led by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, features the participation of key sector entities, including the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, the Saudi Export Development Authority, the Saudi Export-Import Bank, the Saudi Geological Survey, the Saudi Industrial Development Fund, the National Industrial Development Center, the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP), the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON), the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority, the Saudi Mining Services Company (ESNAD), and the Saudi Industrial Investment Group.
This unified participation aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to localize more than 50% of government military spending by 2030. The National Industrial Strategy plays a pivotal role in these objectives by strengthening national industrial capabilities, driving innovation, and attracting strategic investment to enhance local content in the defense sector.
